I like to think that

the common source of grawlixes and early non-objective drawing is what deleuze and guattari have called fluxes:

freedrawing = grawlixes = fluxes

that in the context of S.Tomkins' theory of affect; fluxes and grawlixes are affects without an object

that in that context, the schizo represents a parasitic agent or position (part not part) in relation to machines or systems:

agency = parasite = schizo

and that it holds the promise of a line of escape

that (one) cannot, within the context of occidental arts, call upon 'free' and 'mad' without also conjuring up traces of the oppressive, colonial and racial histories intertwined with these terms

the unmarked schema and the orientalist desert
