Parasite is a series of zines that use
the parasite metaphor to address a variety
of issues around art, self-organization,
zineculture and the contemporary social
political situation.
Part#1 compares biological parasites to
several art projects, looks at parasites as
scapegoats, aliens, parasitic organisations
and zineculture as parasite culture.

Part #2 explores the history of the
parasite, the parasite metaphor in
postmodernism, parasites in foodwebs and the
parasite self.

Part #3 looks at the relation between
parasitism and symbiosis and tries to
define the parasite situated within the
context of this project.

Part #4 will look at the negative affects
as well as propose possible affective
strategies for its transformation.
And it will elaborate further on parasitic
agents behind the drawings of this site.
under construction
the parasite metaphor tries to answer questions about the nature of the point that moves the line.
it conflates the parasite with the mobility agent in the drawing
the point is always the same but it is moved or affected by different agents defined by different locations
it is as-if it is possessed or contaminated
-affection as contamination-
(and contamination as agent)
if 'the mobility agent of a line is a point shifting its position',
then the point is parasitic based on the following characteristics:
it is impure
its position is inbetween
it is multiple/ a vehicle with changing drivers or forces)
